Doughmore – Doonbeg beach , Co Clare Ireland is one of the favourite playgrounds for surfers and Kiters. One of the last untouched beaches on the west coast of Ireland, it stretches a near 3km of rare soft golden sand and natural Dunes. The perfect eco-system. Now another man who doesn’t live here wants to cover it in rock to protect a golf course. He has even threatened the locals to close it down and leave if he doesn’t get his way…anyone know of such a man??? From a kiting perspective, I hope you enjoy the short vid. Most of the footage was captured on from Doonbeg Beach Riders: Alan Kavanagh, Robert Ball, Wojciech Piotrowski (www.lahinchkitesurf.com), Shane Cullinane, Samir Naji Please support the petition https://www.change.org/p/stop-trump-s-irish-wall-naturetrumpswalls Please Visit Facebook Page for more info https://www.facebook.com/Save.Doughmore.Beach/ Music: “Good Bye” by Tomás Mulcahy- composer and dabbler in electronic music since 1989. https://madtheory.bandcamp.com/
